Course Description

The Customs Logistics course is part of the program package of training courses and seminars of the Academy of Export and Logistics of Uzbekistan aimed at training specialists in the areas of "foreign economic activity", "customs clearance", "export development" and "logistics", whose goal is to train and improve the skills of specialists and heads of state organizations, as well as enterprises, incl. SMEs engaged in foreign economic activity.

The task of training in customs logistics is the management of processes related to the organization of an international exchange of material flows. This process includes: assessing the risks of moving goods across the border, preparing packages of shipping documents, filling out a customs declaration, expert evaluation of goods; checking cargo for compliance with the customs declaration; Documentation of all processes from shipment to release of goods from the customs terminal; storage of goods both in warehouses of temporary storage, and in warehouses of responsible cargo storage; licensing and certification of imported goods, which require these procedures, etc.

The training course in Customs Logistics is designed to train specialists in the field of foreign economic activity and is aimed at developing skills to track the movement of goods, carry out customs clearance and optimize transportation costs and customs clearance costs. The course prepares managers for customs logistics, customs clearance specialists, who are able to develop customs clearance schemes, to track the movement of goods at customs points, to prepare documents for customs that are able to conduct an operational analysis of customs operations.

In practical classes (Workshops), students have the opportunity to ask their questions and get qualified answers from experts and instructors of the course on the basis of examples of documents and tasks that occur in the daily work of course participants.

 

Course program:

Customs legislation of Uzbekistan. The Customs Union and the Unified Energy System;
Customs infrastructure: WFS, customs carriers, customs representatives;
Foreign economic activity of the enterprise, foreign trade transactions. Contract for foreign trade activities;
Incoterms - basic conditions for the supply of goods;
Insurance of transactions and transportation;
Currency control and international forms of payment;
Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity (TN VED);
Customs operations and processes (storage, declaration, release);
Customs procedures (customs regimes);
Customs cost and customs payments, calculation, return, recovery;
Customs control and risk management system (RMS);
Bans and restrictions of foreign trade activities; non-tariff regulation and technical regulation. Certification;
Automation of the work of a specialist in foreign trade activities, software used, an electronic declaration system.
Practical lessons:

Students will learn how to work with software in the field of foreign trade and customs;

correctly fill out various types of commercial, transport and customs documents;
draw up a foreign trade contract;
independently determine the code of the goods by TN VED;
to calculate customs value and customs payments;
analyze and determine the need for additional receipt of permits for the import or export of goods (licenses, certificates, permits).
Training under the present program is aimed at acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge that will help organize the work of personnel and establish business processes in the division of foreign economic activity and logistics.

Duration of the training course: 72 hours.

Organizational matters:

Courses can be arranged both in the daytime and in the evening.

In agreement with customers, the courses can be conducted for an individual organization.

Certification:

After the completion of the training courses, certification will be conducted, according to the results of which a registered Certificate will be issued.

1. Presentation materials on the topics of lectures;

2. Reference books on warehouse logistics (in electronic form);

3. Normative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan (in electronic form).
